This is our fourth day here in Israel. Today we went in Hezekiah's tunnel. You can read about it in the scriptures. I was very nervous at the beginning because it seemed swift and a couple steps further it got really deep. Mom carried me until it wasn't very deep, about 5 inches above my ankle. Then we went to a museum, it was pretty cool. Then about an hour later I got 2 souvenirs, a very pretty shawl and a oil lamp, kind of like a genie lamp. Now Eve and Samuel won't wake up from naps that lasted pretty much the whole day. Dad said they're gonna be up all night. Well, good-night!
Ryan brought five fish over today. Eve, Samuel and I were very excited to see the fish.
We touched the fish and they were smooth because they were dry. Then mom took one of the fish and rinsed it, then she said, "Come feel this one." Eve and I went over to the sink and touched it. It felt slippery. Then Samuel said he wanted to touch it. Eve pushed his chair over to the sink. He felt the fish and said it was slimy. Then mom started cutting open the fish. First we saw the flesh, then the heart, the lungs, then all sorts of body parts. Eve and Samuel said "eww" but I said, "wow." Then mom cut off the tail and head. Mom said to see if Rogue would eat it so she put the fish parts that we don't eat into Rogue's bowl. I took the bowl to Rogue. She sniffed it, then took no notice of it. I told mom that she would not eat it so mom told me to throw it in the big trash can. Two of the fish were female and mom and I got to see egg cases in them! Before that happened, Eve, Samuel and I touched some of the fish eyes! When dad got home we ate fish for dinner.
Just so you know, the the fish were rainbow trout.
Last night I had a weird dream. It was about me winning three Venus flytraps. One for me, one for Eve, and one for Samuel. I started thinking about watering mine but then I woke up. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't.
